PART of the overall awareness campaign, aquiz is a form of game or mind sport in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. Quizzes are also brief assessments used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills.

: I would leave out "knowledge" - it's unnecessary. I think a liga del saber is a particular kind of quiz, but this is a good approximation.

Totally agree. As an occasional quizmaster, I don't think an AIDS or HIV awareness quiz will pull in many fans though ;)
