handsome, attractive, elegant, smart, good-looking
It really depends on the context. If you want a couple more ideas, check out the website below, or any Spanish-English dictionary! Good luck!

handsome / brave
In Argentina, or rather in Buenos Aires, this word is not used with the meaning of "handsome" (and anyway it is seldom used). You may still hear it meaning "brave", "strong", and implying also willpower: "Mi madre ya tiene 80 años, pero se la ve todavía muy guapa" (meaning the lady does not want to surrender to her years...)
On the other hand a "guapo" is a traditional character in tango (defined as "a man who practises the cult of courage" in the glossary below). The second site provides more info on these (to us) original guapos.
Lately you may hear it (in Buenos Aires) referring to a good-looking man or woman but only when someone wants to sound funny or "original".
Hope it helps!

goodlooking, handsome, spruce, sprightly, neat
not so easy as it can also be used in a sarcastic way and then it could mean 'smart ass' or 'clever dick'
