Medical (general)
patient notes
Patient notes concerning cardiac problems (e.g. coronary angiography).
In a list of lab analysis responses: Hb 1xx, *EVEF 0.51*, trombocyter....
Is this a typo for something else? EF is usually ejection fraction but I can't find anything other than LVEF that would be similar.
TIA

Perhaps a possibility?

: most likely - and the value is plausible (0.51) - AKA haematocrit, expressed as fraction or percentage - 51% - upper limit of normal

: EVF is consistent with info. in my Cressy's Swedish-English medical dictionary (i.e., EVF=erytrocytvolymfraktion=hematocrit).
