Explanation:
No veo la necesidad de traducir literalmente, sobre todo con posibles textos tan forzados. Creo que al mencionarse previamente que se trata de paseos a caballo, se sobreentiende la parte del cuerpo que resulta beneficiada con la comodidad al acortar los tramos del paseo.

Que propiedad en el hablar! Hasta yo me sorprendí ! :o)
