This is what we usually say in Brazil. It is very common to say \"praticar\" (to practice) regarding languages.

exercitando // treinando

"Praticar" doesn't convey the exact meaning of "to practice" although it is often used in this context.

I prefer the two options I have given you. They mean, literally "to exercise" and "to train", respecitvely, which is what one actually means when one says "practice".
