\'Hello\' by itself is \'Merhaba\'. \'How are you/how\'s it going?\' is \"Nasilsiniz\" the syllables are pronounced something like \'Na-su-sil-nooz\' since the actual letter used in Turkish in place of the \'i\' above is an \'i\' with no dot over it which is a letter that English doesn\'t have. To be even politer you can say \"Nasilsiniz efendim?\" pronounced something like \'Na-su-sil-nooz eh-fen-deem\' and the answer usually is \'Iyiyim, tesekkur ederim\' which means \"I am fine, thank you\". This is usually followed by \"Siz nasilsiniz\" which is \'(And) how are you?\'. HTH.

Merhaba, nasıl gidiyor? (along with several other colloquial alternatives)
The answers so far will all work, really. Stra has the exact translation. Here's some stuff for you to mix and match at will.
Hello: Merhaba or Selam (informal--the word is actually ancient but this type of single-word usage is rather urban and modern).
How is it going?: Nasıl gidiyor? Ne haber (often truncated as n'aber--this is a direct counterpart to What's up or What's new)? You normally would not address formal contacts this way.
How are you?: Nasılsın? (use "Nasılsınız?" if you're not on a first-name basis)
For really informal greetings like Whazzup or What's shakin'? Turkish has come up with things like "Ne iş?" If we had some younger people here, you'd be all set with the most up-to-date, annoying teen lingo!
