Hello,

Does anyone know what ss stands for when referencing a quote from a book? I have a quote and the reference gives a page number and then says "y ss".

(Sica, 1981, pp. 1153 y **ss**)

I have found the same type of reference in Spanish on the internet but can't pinpoint what exactly it is referring to.

Thank you for your help.
