A stdudent who got an official college transcript don't mean he/she is graduated

Diploma: A document issued by an educational institution, such as a university, testifying that the recipient has earned a degree or has successfully completed a particular course of study.
transcript: An official copy of a student's education record.

A stdudent who got an official college transcript don't mean he/she is graduated, while a student who got a deploma must have graduated.
