Very urgent please!!!
L'original délivré par le Greffe du Tribunal de Commerce est établi sur papier tramé.
Half-tint background paper? If I can't find a better term, would it be OK to say "counterfeit proof paper"?
Thank you very much in advance!!

safety paper
The term in English is "safety paper". Bank cheques are printed on safety paper. If you try to erase a check, the paper changes in such a way as to clearly show that it was erased. That is what it means.

Comment: "Thank you Steven, you are a trooper! Unfortunately it came too late for my delivery time (I only had an hour to do some 500 words formatted and all) and finally went with "IS PRINTED
ON HALFTONE TINT OR WATERMARKED PAPER" just to reflect the more specific description. However, it is clear that the idea to be conveyed was that of tamper-proof or safety paper.
So, thanks to the others who confirmed what I had found on Termium and also again suggested the watermarks which were my first "impression" although clearly something both more and less precise was needed! One more time I wish some sort of point splitting were possible.

oui mais pour le papier c'est pareil dans le cas présent- si on utilise 'weft' ça veut dire autre chose ce sera une structure de surface qui n'est pas la signification dans ce cas présent car il s'agit d'un papier de sécurité -
