I am sorry to say that Eric, but you've lost the point. Try to detect the humour in these words - it is an advertisement. One restaraunt in London, I believe it's name is "Wonkey" in China town is FAMOUS for the rudeness of it's waitors, you could be treated really badly there. But it is on the list for tourists, the cooking is beautiful and people like to visit it because it is DIFFERENT.

How is all this relevant to the task of translating this particular phrase? Oh, and I kind of take exception to your style - not to mention your spelling. As a person claiming to be a native speaker of English, I am sure you can do better.

The public tastes of nowdays sometimes is unexplicable. Someone travels aroung "town ships" with a camera. As a tourist ( say in Moscow) you can buy an excursion anywhere you like. More and more people are looking for exotics and those who want to see something that corresponds to their own idea what Soviet Union was look like- ther thirst is satisfied. The demolition has not touched many parts of Moscow, the statues of Lenin are stll there where they were originally placed and abandoned farms look realy ugly. So, for the satisfaction of tourists it could be better even to put " the most ugly" in the text.

Я слышал такой термин в США частенько. Я жил 11 лет в Атланте. Также этот термин слышен в многосерийном фильме "Америка с Таратутой" (или типа того). Оно есть на русском, но можно посмотреть на английском (оригинал). Там есть много что полезного для лингвиста. Термин "low level" говорит сам за себя.

Я думаю, что термин отображает уровень жизни. Он LOW LEVEL....как ни крути. Чувствую себя уверенно по поводу своей формулировки.

Whole estates of prefabs were constructed to provide accommodation for those made homeless by the War and ongoing slum clearance [4]. Almost 160,000 had been built in the UK by 1948 at a cost of close to £216 million.

Prefabs were aimed at families, and typically had an entrance hall, two bedrooms (parents and children), a bathroom (a room with a bath) — which was a novel innovation for many British at that time, a separate toilet, a living room and an equipped (not fitted in the modern sense) kitchen. Construction materials included steel, aluminium, timber or asbestos, depending on the type of dwelling. The aluminium Type B2 prefab was produced as four pre-assembled sections which could be transported by lorry anywhere in the country ..
