This includes tobacco, liquor, etc. I am trying to think of an elegant way to phrase this in English - product for pleasure or enjoyment sounds a bit cumbersome. Any ideas?

luxury food items I believe the British VAT (MWSt) system classes any non-staple foods as "luxury" and this includes coffee, tea, chocs, etc. Whilst they are not "luxury" in the sense of caviar or champagne, it seems even the might of the tax authorities can't come up with a better description than this.
