Kuranstalt vs. Rehaanstalt In Germany a Kuranstalt is more like a "spa", where people go every so often to make sure they stay in good health. My dad received a free spa every four years even though he had not particular disease. You got to choose what you want to do with your time. It was mostly for relaxation. There could also be people who do have a disease, e.g.,a Kurklinik for cancer patients. So it's not entirely the same as a spa.
A Rehaklinik (I have not heard the word "Anstalt" in this context) is a place where people recover from a stroke or other debilitating diseases and do exercises to regain ability to move and talk etc.

@Asker Where did this nurse work? All of the entries (5 to date) might fit depending on the country and the type of establishment. So please give us more context!
