Las traducciones propuestas son muy bonitas e imaginativas, pero no me parecen términos integrados ni extendidos. Vamos, que si oigo "atrapaluz" no lo relaciono con un "suncatcher". Y es que seguramente no existe una palabra en castellano para designar estos adornitos. Por eso, yo traduciría explicando: adorno de vidrio de colores, o adorno colgante en vitral, algo así.

: Entiendo perfectamente tu punto de vista, pero "adorno de vidrio para colgar" es extremadamente ambiguo, puede referirse a muchas cosas. Creo que hay que ser valiente y especificar hasta que el término quede "acuñado". ¡Feliz Año!
