Las cosas caen por su propio peso

General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters

Compensation is based on each employee's contribution and performance*
*Darius has a wonderful phrase, but based on the full context, the tone might be too familiar. What I can't make out is whether this "compensation" is material or psychological. English has a saying "A job well done is its own reward":A Job Well Done is Its Own Reward…Not « The Coaching Source
17 May 2011 – He said “It must be my background, I grew up on a farm, and in my family, a job well done was its own reward.” So true. ...
thecoachingsource.com/.../a-job-well-done-is-its-own-reward…not/ - En caché. If the compensation is material, the phrase I entered will work for you (professional tone); if it is meant in the sense of " a job well done is its own reward" and their is no tangible benefit offered, I wouldn't use the word "compensation", as it implies a tangible benefit. Instead I'd say something like "employees satisfaction with their employment situation is/will be proportional to their contribution and effort/performance."

" you can fool some people sometimes but you can't fool all the people all the time"

: This is a misquotation of Lincoln and doesn't seem to fit the context, anyway. / Yes, it's just my opinion that it doesn't fit the context. But it is a fact that you've got the quote wrong - and you could easily have checked it.
