Spanish term
Juzgado de Inquilinato y Relación
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
court
This is the name for a kind of court in Ecuador. I understand that a Juzgado de Inquilinato would be a Tenant Law Court, but what does the 'relación' part mean? My only context is that the action listed is "Inscripción de contrato de arrendamiento."

"Neighbour relations" (British spelling) has been a term used a lot in recent years in the UK, where there have been attempts to involve the law more actively in disputes between neighbours. See for example

I understand you will be using US English, but it may be a useful illustration of the term.
Lorena: I agree with Helena. This one's yours.
