Italian term

CV a dimora

Italian to English Medical Medical (general)
From a discharge report. It is confirmed elsewhere in the report that the patient is indeed catheterized. I just want to check that my translation of 'a dimora' is correct.
Thanks in advance

got it, thanks
Note from asker:
a quick search on 'correctly placed catheter' brought up mainly central venous catheters but this definitely refers to a bladder catheter - and the final diagnosis was 'infezione vie urinarie in pz con CV a dimora' hence I'm going go with Judy's suggestion
I've also now found some references to 'catetere a dimora (o a permanenza)' including in Wiki.

agree Anne Schulz : or just "in place", depending on context
