English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Norms & Standards
in a list of standards:

"XXX equipment working to BS EN ISO 9001"

Does this mean that the equipment doesn't comply with the ISO norm yet? Or the contrary?...

I take this to mean that the equipment operates in accordance with the specifications of the standard.
If they wanted to express the other meaning, it would be "working TOWARDS..."
