German term
Das Land in Haus/das Land zu Hause
German to English
Art/Literary
Advertising / Public Relations
advertising slogans
Can anyone help me to find a neat solution to diffentiate between the above two phrases as advertising slogans for a furniture company. It's been a long week and my brain has virtually switched off!
XXX - Das Land im Haus.
XXX - Das Land zu Hause.
Client's explanation (for what it's worth...):
Hintergrund:
Any suggestions gratefully received!

Country in the Home / Home in the Country
I would actually reverse these in the ad, since they "ring" better that way. (BTW this plays on an old saying, "You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy.")

Comment: "Thanks to everyone for all your suggestions. I like Darin's play on the old saying, but am adapting it slightly to use countryside and borrowing SwissTell's "Bring..." for the first saying - sorry I can't award points all round!"

Of course, the example given below is not referring to furnitures per se, but still fits the circumstances:
If you are looking to bring a touch of the Tuscan countryside into your home

You and the countryside – at ease with each other – in your own home
- You and the countryside -
- At ease with each other -
- In your own home -
* Use of second person for direct appeal
* The countryside has ‘entered’ your home (im Haus)
* You both feel at home (zu Hause)
* You both feel at ease, as you should with comfortable furniture
