German term
bezuschlagten Angebot
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Law: Contract(s)
The term "bezuschlagt" has been irritating me for a while, it should be obvious but I can't find a reliable definition. Something led me to "overarching" but that could also lead to my embarrassment, especially on here.

Selected
accepted quotation/bid
I read the German as "Angebot, dem [für das] der Zuschlag erteilt wurde", meaning that the bidder who submitted the quotation was awarded the contract.

I am not following OK? I mean how can you say that given that there is no context? Looks like your approach is pretty much based on direct translation.

: successful bid is correct, it refers only to the bids that have been accepted, awarding the contract is another different tendering step.
