"Sie legen Wert auf höchste Druckqualität sowohl im 60er und im 120er Raster als auch bei frequenzmodulierten oder anderen Spezialrastern?"
"Raster" in printing is usually translated as screen. But searching on Google has confused me between dpi (dots per inch) and lpi (lines per inch) => and then there is also stil that term "raster" in English. Who can clear this up for me?
TIA

: Do you have any references? And why does 120 lines per cm equal 3,000 dpi?

: Explanation is correct, but numbers and are not. it's 150 and 300 lpi for 60er and 120er Raster, resp. See http://deu.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/printing_publish...

: Klaus Herrmann is correct. I managed international ad campaigns for so long that this became familiar verbiage. I must admit that the conversion of dot per cm to lpi can be confusing. And yes, a raster refers to the screen.
