German term

Boden

Is it me being dense? This a a drive for a roller shutter door. The only thing I can think of is "starting from the shut position", but that is an interpretation and not a translation. Anyone got a bright idea?

ground

You can do it from the ground (electronically), meaning that you don't have to climb all the way up to the top of the door to set those Endlagen mechanically.

agree Klaus Herrmann : The electronic ground confused me for a sec... Yep, keep your feet on the ground while programming the limit switches.

I was looking at it from a completely different angle, it just didn't occur to me that the user was the subject and not the door/controller. I won't put this one into the glossary for obvious reasons."
