"node" is a standard term in systems software: nodi geografici = geographic nodes;
nodo principale = primary node;
nodo intestatario = registered node;
nodo destinatario = destination node. -- Regarding "intestatario": In Italian business usage, it means "holder" or "registered holder". However, "registered node" is the proper term in this context. -- Best, HC
