Italian term

e ss. c.p.c.

Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) insurance (INAIL)
This little bureaucratic abbreviation appears in a letter from INAIL (the Italian Workers' Compensation agency), where it explains how to submit an appeal to their decisions:

"...consegna diretta; spedizione a mezzo racc. a.r.; notifica ex artt. 137 *e ss. c.p.c.*

I'm guessing that ss. may be 'successivi' (?) but I can't figure out c.p.c.

Grazie tanto!

As an alternative... Is there anything incorrect about saying Civil Procedural Code (if only for the sake of a pinch more brevity) instead of Code of Civil Procedure?
