I know this is ass/donkey but in the story of Pinocchio, in the Land of Toys where the naughty children become "ciuchi", would little donkey suffice as a transaltion or should I say jackass? Only native speakers of English please. Thanks.

I'd stick with "donkey", to be honest ... they're little and noisy and stubborn. You get gist?
