The family needs more then ever to protect the non born or concieved child.
That's the only way I understand it. Do something with mu english if it is wrong, it's not that good, but I am pretty sure that's the meaning in portuguese, I mean, there are not some special words in it. I suppose that menas that one has to take care whet she is pregnant or something.

Families need to protect their unborn children now more than ever.
I would leave out conceived in English,as we tend to be less redundant than Romance languages.
