it is rather "non-consensual" than "unacceptable" -
т.к. это принято практикой и законом.
Смысл - не нужно получать у владельца счета разрешение на списание - можно это сделать практически автоматически (в определенных ситуациях).
Раньше (во времена Гос.арбитража) можно было даже выигранные суммы по хозяйственным спорам безакцептно списывать.

еще один момент - это не списание долгов (в смысле их прощения)
а способ взаиморасчетов - БЕЗНАЛИЧНЫХ. долг не прощается, а выплачивается. только снятие средств с его счета происходит особым путем - кредитор выставляет в требование к платежу в банк должника и банк (потому что закон допускает это) автоматически (без запрашивания разрешения на перевод средств у своего клиента-должника) переводит фонды кредитору.

для тех кому смешно...
безакцептная форма перечисления платежей (похоже слово \"списание\" сбивает с толку)- отчасти феномен советского права - поэтому его достаточно сложно логически принять.
думаю, не стоит сравнивать его с заграничными \"аналогами\" т.к. таковых может и не быть.

Just wanted to make it clear. LOL... :))Direct Debit has nothing to do with Write-off, those are absolutely non-related things.
What is Direct debit?
In cases where the customer doesn’t have a credit card, the supplier of a particular service doesn’t accept credit card payments (utilities providers, tax collectors, associations, clubs, etc.), or the customer doesn’t want the hassles and expenses of issuing a check for recurring bills, Direct Debit (DD) represents an effective and inexpensive form of payment. The major drawback is, however, that DD can’t be used for international transactions.
Over the years, DD has expanded to Electronic Direct Debit (EDD) payment forms. I for example do Direct Debit everyday at the supermarket.
Now what is a write off:
Write-offs are items that you have determined will be uncollectible. Items may only be considered after due dilligence in collections has been exercised. Some of the reasons for a write off include: bankruptcy, unable locate an individual/vendor, the amount uncollectible has remained in Credit and Collections a minimum of 2 years, and further collection efforts will exceed the item value. etc...

Попытаюсь объяснить: DD делается в противовес кредиту (см. выше), то есть системы изъятия денег вендором посредством кредитной компании, а то, что надо ввести номер, это не суть важно, главное - в принцип-м. различии. А вообще вопрос о списании со счетов.
