Another suggestion

It appears that the new Mexican Ley del Mercado de Valores calls listed companies (defined as those whose stock is listed on the Registro Nacional de Valores and is traded on the stock exchange) as "sociedades anónimas bursátiles." Under this law listed companies must now identify themselves as such by placing the word "Bursátil" after the expression "Sociedad Anónima" which follows their corporate name:

Capítulo II
De las sociedades anónimas bursátiles

Artículo 22.- Las sociedades anónimas cuyas acciones representativas del capital social o títulos de crédito que representen dichas acciones se encuentren inscritas en el Registro, formarán su denominación social libremente conforme a lo previsto en el artículo 88 de la Ley General de Sociedades Mercantiles, debiendo adicionalmente agregar a su denominación social la expresión "Bursátil", o su abreviatura "B". Las sociedades anónimas bursátiles estarán sujetas a las disposiciones especiales que se contienen en el presente ordenamiento legal y, en lo no previsto por éste, a lo señalado en la Ley General de Sociedades Mercantiles.

It defines "Sociedad Anónima Bursátil" as a "fullfledged publicly listed corporation which is subject to the full range of regulations governing listed companies."

I am responding to María Eugenia's comment here, because there is not enough room below. Perhaps I am confused as to the text to be translated here. If I understand this correctly, Luis is asking for a translation of "sociedades anónimas bursátiles" within the context of:

"Las bolsas de valores y sociedades que administran sistemas para facilitar operaciones con valores podrán solicitar la inscripción en el Registro y, en su caso, la oferta pública de las acciones representativas de su capital social, siempre que se ajusten a lo previsto para las sociedades anónimas bursátiles."

In my reading of this text, "securities trading corporations" or "brokerage corporations" would be the translation for "sociedades que administran sistemas para facilitar operaciones con valores", and what the text is saying is that these securities trading corporations may apply to be included on the Register ("solicitar la inscripción en el Registro") and, if warranted go public with their shares ("y, en su caso (solicitar) la oferta pública de las acciones representativas de su capital social") as long as they comply with the requisites for publicly-held companies ("siempre que se ajusten a lo previsto para las sociedades anónimas bursátiles.") This is my reading of the text after studying a "fair piece" of the new Mexican Ley de Mercado de Valores, since this text is a verbatim quote of Article 266 of that law. If you would like more context, this Article 266 is on page 113 of the law and is available in a pdf file on the Mexican government website:
