Another option might be to include the words "even more" or "further" e.g., "...is strengthened even more..." / "...is further enhanced [when]..." Good luck, Yvonne!!

Let me rephrase that: "The foregoing EXPLANATION makes even more sense considering that..." It's not really about a formal proposal, just an explanation. At least that's my guess.
