Spanish term or phrase: Blindaje
Se trata de un informe de una empresa, en el que se hace una breve referencia al contexto general del pais. En uno de los puntos dice:

"Se firmó el BLINDAJE FINANCIERO por el monto de ....... . "

El contexto no dice mas que eso pero, se trata del blindaje que se firmó en Argentina en Diciembre de 2.000.

Recuerdo que ya alguien lo pregunto aquí en el foro, pero lo busqué y no lo pude encontrar.

I think it’s a term that accurately describes our situation, because the plan is intended to protect us from an economic crisis rather than rescue us after one has occurred. And we are already seeing its positive effects. Interest rates have fallen. We are exchanging short-term for longer-term debt. Investors can have full confidence that the country is financially secure.

What makes you confident that Argentina will not have to ask for another bailout next year?

I think you should read this page, blindaje appears to have originated with Argentina and mybe should not eb translated or should at leasrt be glossed. Also this page for info such as this:
