Hi folks, I just found my resume and other personal information being shared by a site called docstoc.com. It looks like some one got a hold of my resume (which isn't exactly hard to do) and uploaded it to this site, which hasn't responded to any of my requests to have it removed. I don't mind free marketing, but this is making me really uncomfortable.

I would suggest taking a look to see if any of your documents have made their way there.

My CV is there as well.

I think there is nothing to worry about - just another search engine or something.

I found my CV there as well, asked the website to remove it. They responded very promptly. It still shows up in a Google images search, I believe, but is no longer on the DocStoc site.

I think it's OK, it's a sharing site for students, teachers, academics etc for finding and sharing pdf s. Ami I cirrect?
