Friends, Will clearly states that these are charges/accusations against a *company*. We can't use the pronoun 'he' for a company! Liz's suggestion comes very close, but neither she nor the colleagues supporting her have noticed this.

So I would translate the source sentence given as: "The action (fact?) contained in the first charge of which they (or 'the company') are being accused ...

neutral  Joseph Tein: "attributed" might be acceptable in some situations, but in this case we're talking about formal charges, so 'charged' or 'accused' are more appropriate translations
