Buenas.

Perhaps? Mar 31

It seems as if your machine may be for SORTING (vegetables?) according to their SIZE — many markets require them to be 'graded' into certain size bands, either by dimensions or weight.

That was my idea at first too, but now I have realized that it is not about "yams", but "yarns". Still I don´t know much about the machine it´s referring to.

Sizing yarn Mar 31

Sizing is also used to mean a type of coating. When you size yarn you coat it which makes it smoother and stronger. This is good for the threads when you are weaving, particularly the threads that run along the cloth. In weaving terms, these are referred to as the warp threads and they are subject to a lot of stress and friction in a weaving machine which is why it is a good idea to make them stronger and smoother.

The threads that go across the cloth are known as the weft.

Sizing is a process Mar 31

Sizing is a process the yarn goes through.

Take a look at this web site:

sizing machine: encoladora Mar 31

Hi! Take a look at this glossary, it may be useful. http://www.acta.es/glosarios/industria_textil-f.pdf
Also, IATE says "plegadora" for warp beam in the Textile industry, and defines it as: beam from which the warp yarns are unrolled during weaving. For beam: plegador
Sizing machine: encoladora/aprestadora
