description of person
I am translating a text with a play on words between "small fry" and "big fish" and was wondering if there is a way to keep this expression.
Here is the original:
Here you are, with Peter and James and John, Thomas, Nathaniel and another of the disciples, eating with the Lord. And you know it is the Lord, and He is alive. You wonder why you are here, you who are a “small fry”, caught up in this most amazing story. Then you think of the miraculous catch of fish which you have helped to haul in, and you realise that there are no “small fry” to Jesus, but that he wants all sorts and everyone is a “big fish” to him!
This is my attempt so far:
Esp. since this is directed to young men and women, perhaps there is a better term to use instead of "don nadie" that wouldn't exclude the "doña nadie", if you know what I mean...
I look forward to your suggestions.

plato de segunda mesa
Hola.

My take:
(I'd replace "siendo" with "sintiéndote", since I believe it's more an impression one gets rather than an actual fact, you know?).

You wonder why you are here, you who are a “small fry”,
everyone is a “big fish” to him!
y todos son todo para él.
o
