Long-running TV series: The second season of “XXX” is also presently in production as well as the two new long-runing series produced at lower costs.
I'd like to know if long-running and long-running series is the correct translation here. It refers to a TV series 24X'50 format, meaning 24 episodes (50 min. each) in one year. Long-running gives me more the impression of a series that has been running for years. I.e. FRIENDS was a long-running series. Any expert advice on this one?
