I have no idea what that string could mean; don't see what poor MrOrso (http://www.gabrevetti.it/images/wallpaper1.png 3rd row 2nd left) has to do with anything "liquoroso", and as you say, the sentence doesn't make any sense on its own.

Maybe he lit up a cigar which exploded in his face and singed his eyebrows, lol? I think your client needs to explain this to you :-)

The character the string is referring to is "MrOrso", it can be seen on the image representing all the characters at the top of the page.

OK, good luck :-) Maybe this will help: "Rubs the sleep out of his eyes while the lingering pungent/overpowering/strong/heavy stench of alcohol fills the corridor"; I'm thinking along the lines of a character waking up from a hangover.

Sorry but all I have got is what does this app do and loads of strings each referring to a different character. I think that at this point I will go for a literal translation, even because this sentence itself sounds very strange to me (and I am Italian...)

Description Raffaele, can you describe the character this string belongs to? Translating *liquoroso* by itself is straightforward (see my suggestions below, or Francesca's answer, or consult a dictionary), but we'll need to know what it is referring to in this particular case if you want help translating the entire sentence; we need the immediate context (what does the character look like, what kind of photos would it be inserted into, etc).

The strings are just characters' description, they have no influence on the app's functionality. You can modify any photo from the gallery adding filters and these cartoon-like characters.

Can you describe this photo? So is this an example of how users can tag their modified pictures? Can you describe the picture/photo this tag is related to (sounds like a cartoon character "sta bruciando" the sleep from a person in the picture's eyes)?

it is a "photo editor" app You can add various cartoon characters to photos each having a string representing its "biography". This sentence is related to one of them. The artist seems to have put lots of metaphorical meanings into this app so I am not so sure how the sentence I asked help for could be translated into an english equivalent :)

Heady / Context *liquoroso* could mean heady, potent, pungent, inebriating or overpowering, as if the air were saturated with the smell of strong liquor. But we really need more context to translate it & the sentence accurately. What is the purpose/nature of the app? And why (inglese) in brackets?
