French term

contrats financiers conclus exclusivement en couverture de marchés

French to English Bus/Financial Investment / Securities Equity report
I'm translating an equity report for an asset-management company from French (France) to English (United Kingdom) and am having trouble with a phrase. Please find it below in a full sentence to give you full context:

'L'investissement sera réalisé pour au minimum 85% de l'Actif Net du Fonds dans les parts [..] de l'OPCVM Maître, le reste de l'actif ne pouvant être composé que de liquidités et de contrats financiers conclus exclusivement en couverture de marchés.'

I was thinking along the lines of 'financial contracts concluded only for market hedging'. Would that be the most appropriate choice?

Many thanks!

financial contracts concluded for the sole purpose of hedging transactions

or simply
solely concluded for hedging purposes or something along these lines
note: marchés here means transaction
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Your second option is more concise.

agree Rob Grayson : "…solely for hedging purposes" would be neater IMO

neutral Daryo : these are transactions directly linked to some other transactions, but not necessarily for the purpose of "hedging", especially that in this occurrence I can't see what could be "hedged"
