Nach meinem Empfinden bezieht sich "building up to ..." auf "... glitterati" (die "bauen sich auf für"/bereiten sich vor auf).
In einem Marketing-Text würde man das wohl so nicht sagen. Den Aspekt des "sich auf Kommendes einstellen" erfaßt hier m. E. "begierig auf".
