Morphing: everybody has seen it but how exactly do you do it?

There was a time when filmmakers and advertisers could draw gasps of surprise from an audience by progressively distorting a picture of one person into a picture of another, but morphing is now so common that we take it for granted in professional work. Things are different for amateur photographers who can still create unexpectedly dramatic or humorous points by introducing morphs to their presentations, especially when they come unexpectedly.
Winmorph is a completely free program that enables you to create morphs with minimal effort. It can do all three types of morph: simple warps of a still image to give somebody an exaggerated smile or a big nose, dual morphs that progressively blend one picture into another, and video morphs in which a mutation takes place during a video sequence.
