French term

fidélité

French to English Marketing Cosmetics, Beauty make-up
A woman's loyalty to her make-up, but refering to make-up's loyalty to a woman sounds strange to me. I've been tossing around reliability, dependability, staying power, longevity... Or perhaps it's just me and loyalty sounds fine to you in this context.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

staying power

I agree that loyalty does sound odd in the context you give.
I like your suggestion of "staying power" here
Peer comment(s):

agree Julie Barber : I agree that this is the notion here - basically that it works and stays on

true to your own skin / stays true / long-lasting

Could the text be referring to how "loyal" the foundation is to the customer's own skin colour? That is, it looks natural...

Another option could be that the text is talking about how well the foundation stays put - "loyal" to the initial application. Long-lasting, long-wearing, durable, sustainable, etc.

Good luck!
Peer comment(s):

agree Julie Barber : I'd go for long-lasting; basically that it works and stays on your skin \\ of course, I'm fed up of that business stuff....

faithful

ah, it's come to me; not loyal but faithful!! like your faithful old lipstick etc, your favourite old perfume..... although I think that it prob. just means that it works....so I think I'd go with long-lasting effects as per Sylvia's unless you want it to be some old faithful favourite :)

Here are some good words from Clarins:

Glides on evenly and easily with lasting, stay-true colour and no build-up

Upon application, fine lines and imperfections are optically reduced for smooth, flawless results

flawless would be good for affinité!
