French term
baromètre d'écoute sociale
French to English
Bus/Financial
Human Resources
A company wants to know what its employees think of their working conditions, relations with management, etc. (the "climat social") and is carrying out an anonymous online survey consisting of statements with which you agree, partially agree, disagree, etc. They are calling this a "baromètre d'écoute sociale". Does anyone know what an English-speaking company would call this. I'm trying to avoid the word "satisfaction", as this, to me at least, suggests some employees may be dissatisfied, as this is not at all implicit in the French. Tricky one !

employee opinion survey
Employee opinion surveys help employers measure and understand their employees' attitude, opinions, motivation, and satisfaction towards their job and the organization they work for. It also lets employers see how an employee perceives their work experience and helps to identify opportunities to improve the work environment.

Similar to polyglot45's suggestion (employee feedback survey).
Also called ''employee viewpoint survey''.

: This link does not describe what the asker is looking for, in my opinion. Nothing to do with employee opinions of their work conditions.

Well, as you may have seen I introduced the link with this sentence: "That's something else, but similar in the idea:".

: Social is a false friend here. A social barometer is a barometer of changes in society.

Well, being just a suggestion, a neutral comment would be more friendly.

French term (edited):
baromètre d\'écoute sociale
Employee satisfaction survey
Slightly more specific than 'opinion', gets across exactly what the survey is for.

Can't get more official than that.
As to "satisfaction", if they are asking the questions, it's because they are aware that maybe some staff members are dissatisfied. Not sure therefore why you are so keen to avoid the word
Of course you could remain very neutral and talk of a "staff feedback survey"
