Discussion

Eszter Bokor (asker) Jun 21, 2007:
These are young asylum seekers who either do not speak German properly, or they have psychological problems and thus cannot attend school like children their age, or they are just simply banned by the Austrian laws from getting an education (because they have not been granted asylum yet). There are lots of reasons to be "ausserordentlich".
Courtney Sliwinski Jun 21, 2007:
Is there any special reason why these students will not recieve an "Abschluss". I am thinking along the lines of special needs students, who are permitted to take part in lectures, but lack the capacity to recieve credits for the courses.

auditor

An auditor may attend lectures and other class meetings, to take part in class discussions, and receive written confirmation of attendance. An auditor will not receive evaluations of participation, and will not be allowed to submit assignments or write examinations and tests, except by special and express permission. The University's Code of Student Conduct will apply to auditors.

extramural
