I have a German medical invoice that lists in the services billed for the following:
"Beurteilung-Fremdröntgen"
I haven't been able to track down this specific type of X-ray. Has anyone seen this before? Any insights appreciated!
Thanks!

: yes, but I'd phrase it as "X-ray from an external institution, or even just "external X-ray", just as "deppert" as the DE original :)

: "outside" or "external"; the other options may be too specific (does not have to be a practice, and could be any radiologist whom the patient or his GP chose to see)

Discussion
It usually means that the doctor invoices his finding on an X-ray that was taken elsewhere in the past, which the patient brought to the consultation . So it means the image itself, not the facility/institution.
