stroke treatment
This is part of the name of a hospital stroke treatment unit.
My text: "Il Paziente dovrà presentarsi presso il Day Sevice della MIV-Stroke Unit ... " (from the discharge instructions).
Found online: "Dal 15 al 28 maggio 2015 sono stato ricoverato, dapprima presso la MIV-Stroke Unit, e successivamente presso l’Unità di Degenza Infermieristica." Also: "Il primo ricovero ha riguardato una donna di novanta anni, trasferita nella nuova unità dalla struttura complessa MIV-Stroke Unit .... "
I find this MIV abbreviation repeatedly, but can't find what the letters stand for ... does anyone know this/can someone figure it out?
