Note: I chose "didn't" instead of "hadn't" due to the informal tone. This is probably a conversation between friends and their speech is really informal and "laid back," as you can see by their using "tu tem" instead of "tu tens." The English version could be full of "gonna" and "wanna" if the same atmosphere is kept, but it sure would depend on the purposes of this translation (book, subtitles, voice over, website...)
