About me
A competent translator is not only bilingual but also bicultural. Thanks to my upbringing in a uniquely bilingual city, I am just as comfortable expressing myself in French as I am in English.

I possess an excellent command of both languages, a growing understanding of their semanticity and idiomaticity, and an intuitive sense of when to translate literally and when to paraphrase, so as to deliver elegant, organic translations. Additionally, my terminological research skills allow me to assist in creating lexicons for the purposes of organization and standardization.

As an intrinsically creative person, my main field of specialization is adaptation: for advertising, television, cinema, theatre, literature, poetry, etc. I grasp the subtleties, connotations, and cultural references of Canadian French and Canadian as well as American English. I also possess a fair knowledge of French and British cultures. My other fields of interest are psychology, popular culture, social justice, and linguistics.

My lively intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, proactivity, and adaptability are the qualities that distinguish me from others. I am deeply involved in my projects and committed to satisfaction from beginning to end, and I have at heart my clients’ needs and demands. Therefore, I make myself readily available for problem-solving, brainstorming, and answering any and all questions.

Looking forward in working with you!
