Spanish term

te puedes hinchar (in this context)

Spanish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
The saga continues:

Is this like, if you like eggs and bacon you can forget about it or is it just the opposite, if you like eggs and bacon you can eat tons of them?

I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm not familiar with these Spanish expressions so if a colleague from Spain can enlighten me on this colorful way of saying things I would be really grateful....

Thanks for all your help!

you can stuff yourself/gorge yourself

Hi Vanessa,

I'm not from Spain, but have lived there for several years and this is the meaning of the expression as it is used there.

Good luck!

you'll get good and fat.

Or:
"You'll be able to eat to your heart's content."

The sense is defintely that the person will "get filled up" (including the sene of "getting fat", although there seems to be a positive connotation).

Suerte.
