French to English Social Sciences Environment & Ecology green growth and urbanism
• répondre aux enjeux locaux de la commune ou de l’agglomération :
- en termes d’emploi et d’activités, de mixités, d’équité sociale ;
- en participant au besoin d’attractivité de la ville : mobilité, culture, etc.
- en termes d’attentes des habitants et des usagers : amélioration de la qualité de vie : réduction des nuisances, qualité globale (environnementale mais aussi architecturale, d’usage, etc.) des bâtiments et des espaces publics, synergie territoriale, synergie thématique (eau par exemple), etc. ;

social diversity

Strikes me as a more likely phrase in 2023. However, it no doubt partly depends on the purpose: "social mix" could just be an observation, whereas "social diversity" is probably more likely to be a desired aim (although not necessarily).
