Gestion Commerciale Medicale
Hi all,
I am currently working on a Gestion Commerciale Medicale and had a few terms I wanted to ask about. The first is 'depot'. I have been researching for a good while now but nothing I have found fits the context. I'll give some examples of where it's used:
'Toute mise en dépot doit faire l'objet d'une demande écrite de la part du commercial'
'A reception de la demande le Customer Service doit editer le BL de mise en dépot'
There are also various heading with 'dépot' in them such as:
'Suivi de la mise en dépot'
'Augmentation de dépot'
'Retour de dépot'
'Controle des états dépots'
Any suggestions for dépot would be much appreciated as it's a key word in the text and it's hard to get the gist without it!!
Thanks,
Claire

Consignment
Since BL is involved, I suggests 'consignment'
Warehousing and storage are also options but I prefer consignment

SJLD
: certainly more likely than "deposit" - see consignment or loan/er sets/kits

pharmacy, medicine depot, depot, store
Basically, this is the place where medicines are stored. Depending on your context -- it can be a pharmacy, a depot, a store, a warehouse. Terms like pharmacy depot, pharmaceutical depot, etc can be possible. Rough translations: A written request from marketing is required for stocking medicines in the pharmacy.
Suivi de la mise en dépot -- Followup of stocks entering the depot
Augmentation de dépot -- Increase of stocks in the depot
Retour de dépot -- Returns to the Depot
Controle des états dépots -- Monitoring of the Depot status
Needless to add, you will have to fine tune and finally decide on the precise word that fits your context.

stock (and combinations using)
From the NHS web references below on stock control, I have found the phrases:
"stock top-up"
"updating stock levels": '
"check all the dispensing and ward stock supplies".
There are documents like this for NHS hospitals across the UK; the search terms I used were "pharmacy, "stock control" and "stock management".
It seems there is less reference to the actual warehouse or stock location than to the stock itself, to express the same thing as in French.
Hope this helps
