Yo me inclino por traducir así la expresión. De lo que tú indicas en el contexto, entre los datos que se pide de las personas que firman por la compañía que se obliga en el acuerdo de confidencialidad, está la necesidad de indicar el tipo social [S.A., o S.R.L., o lo que fuere]. Así lo interpreto yo en este caso.
