I'm looking for the English term for "détaré", concerning the engine on a Renault Trucks vehicle (Master). It's written in the specifications for the different engines: 2,3 dCi (125 hk détaré).
I need it in Norwegian, but if I can at least find the term in English, it will help me out. Thanks!

: seems to apply to the aviation industry more than the automotive industry

Not necessarily. I nearly wrote flat-rated, but realised that that was for the aviation industry.

: I'm no specialist, but would 'downgraded engine' really be in the specifications ?

The goal is to give a lower performance of the engine than it could deliver by manufacturing (i.e. torque, power).
